Vehicle Safety Laboratory
Vehicle Safety Laboratory comprises a car cockpit, several car seats, seatbelts and active head-restraints for research and educational purposes. Three custom-made in-house built CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines - Digital and Mechanical) provide measurement of human-body dimensions and postures. Collaboration with METU-Biltir Centre (Vehicle Safety Unit Laboratory) is possible.
