As part of the research conducted by our department's Multiphase Flow Research Group, Research Assistant Arif Eren Özdemir attended the International Conference on Circulating Fluidized Bed Technology (CFB-14) held in Taiyuan, China, from July 21 to July 24. His paper titled "CFD-DEM Modelling of Spouted Bed Solar Thermal Receivers" was awarded the Best Paper Award at the conference. Together with our department's faculty member Prof. Dr. Murat Köksal, we congratulate him and the research group for their achievements and wish them continued success.
