Our vision is to become an engineering department which renews itself based on the needs of universal and national technological needs, creates and applies modern educational and research strategies and is productive in the research and development activities at the international level.

Vision

The mission of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Hacettepe University is to educate engineers who

• are equipped with world-class research, development and design skills,
• are sensitive to the sustainable development and environment,
• pioneer technological development compatible with national needs,

and contribute to the national and international technology with the research and development activities during this course.
