The laboratory was opened in the summer of 2023 with the participation of rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Cahit Güran and TAI officials.

The laboratory is open to all students and was established mainly for the purpose of graduate students being able to write their theses with TAI infrastructure on subjects related to TAI.
